I'M PREGNANT!!!!

I AM PREGNANT!!!

Why isn't all this enough?

I feel so guilty right now. I have just about everything I ever wanted. I am happily married to the most wonderful man I have ever known! I am working full time, getting paid very well, in a job where I am using my degree! I am living in a beautiful townhouse! I have new friends out here in Ohio!

But...

Something is missing...

I want a child so much. I want to share my wonderful life. I want my husband and I to start a family, however, no matter what we do, I haven't gotten pregnant yet.

The hardest part is having all of my friends pregnant. Seriously I have at least 7 friends pregnant right now or just had their babies.

I know we have only been married for 6 months now and I know I am only 22. I also know that money is tight, but I have felt that there is something missing. I feel this is what we need to do. I pray every month that I am pregnant and the disappointment is so overwhelming. I need comfort, but I am not sure where to go for that.

New Job and all that comes with it

Well, last week I was offered the job as an ASL tutor. I have to get licensed this year, but I can work for one year on a temp license. Two days ago I also started grad school. After looking at the course expectations, I realized that I would not be able to take two classes, aka 6 credit hours, work full time, be a good wife, have a life, fulfill my church callings, and potentially be a mother all at the same time. Therefore, I have decided to only take one class this semester. I know that will mess up my financial aid, but I am sure this is what I need to do. I am so excited to start my new job!

Last week we had to take Harlie, my cat, back to the pet shop. It is a long story, but it is better all around. It was hard to give her up, but I know it is best.

Earlier this week I was in the hospital yet again. In July I had an allergic reaction that came back on Tuesday. It has been going on for awhile, but by Tuesday I couldn't handle it anymore so I had to go to the hospital again. They did the same thing they did last time...shot of steroids in the butt, and a regimen of steroids to clear up the reaction. I hope it doesn't come back again!

Welcome to the world!

My first nephew, Austin Andrew Haga, was born September 2, 2008 at 5:31pm!!! He was 7lb 15oz and 21inches long!!! I can't wait to be able to go to Illinois to see him!!! Congrats to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law!!!
Isn't he just adorable!!!

Well, since my last post life has just gone full speed ahead!
Anthony and I moved from our flea infested trailer into a wonderful apartment!
I have enjoyed working at the coin shop, but I had two job interviews today for a job as an ASL tutor for the local school district!!! I would get paid 3 times what I am paid now!!! I am praying they offer the job!!!
I am getting ready to start school in less than a week...eek!!!
Need I say more about how busy life has been?

Great Website!!!

I have found my newest favorite website. I believe that it is important to document what happens in my life. I believe that it not only helps me look back on my life, but it may also be interesting for my posterity to read. This website is a free journaling website. It is so easy and fun! I really enjoy spending time on it. Check it out!

Wedding Fever!

As I look back on the last year, I realize just how strong the wedding fever truly is! It all started this last July with Ryan and Jordan's wedding. I didn't realize then what the chain effect would be, but it has been incredible. In September, Ryan and Melissa came back to Illinois and renewed their vows (they eloped the first time.) December was when Angie got married. In January, I got engaged to my wonderful husband. February brought Jamie and Sarah's weddings. May brought my wedding, Adam's, and JHouse's. June brought Becky's wedding and Laura and Brian's wedding. Last weekend was Kasey and Danny's wedding and July 5th is Jessica and Andrew's wedding. I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful season! There was a time in my life when I wasn't sure if I would be a part of the newlywed club, but my Heavenly Father has blessed me with my new husband! I have never been happier and I hope that the other people newly inducted into this club feel the same! Congrats everyone and I pray that those that are still waiting to find that special someone will soon!

School

My husband and I will be attempting the unimaginable for most people this fall...we will both be in school at the same time. Anthony will be starting his bachelors and I will be starting my masters. At the same time we will both be working and hopefully starting a family. While all of this is going on, we know that Heavenly Father will be watching over us and guiding us in our actions. I am just so grateful for such a wonderful husband that would support me in continuing my education even when most people believe it to be a waste of time, energy, and money. I am proud that the two of us are working so hard for what we know we need to accomplish. I am just excited to see what comes next...as long as I have Anthony by my side, I know we can do anything!

Anyway... Go Tiffin! Go NC State! (Don't worry...I still say "Go MacMurray!")

Wedding

Well, on May 10th Anthony and I were sealed in the Nauvoo, IL temple! We had the opportunity to have an open house in Jacksonville, IL on May 8th and in Galion, OH on May 17th. We also had a ring ceremony and wedding reception on May 10th. On May 14th we went to southern Ohio where we had rented a cabin for a few days! It was the most amazing honeymoon ever! I will write more about it later.

Post Graduation

Well, I am officially a graduate of MacMurray College with a BA in Sign Language Interpreting. I graduated summa cum laude! I am so proud of how well I did! It is such a relief to have made it! I have worked so hard to finish college. There were so many times that I just wanted to give up. I have learned so many things while in college that I know I needed to learn. However, I had a rough four years and I am definitely looking forward to tackling the next chapter of my life. My father-in-law said that he was proud of me because of all of the hard work I did to get my degree. My Mom threw me a graduation party on Sunday. I had a good time.

On the wedding front, a woman from church finished up my wedding dress! That is a huge relief! I was able to get my bridal pictures taken last night at the Butterworth Center. They look beautiful!

Today Mandi, my sister and maid-of-honor, and I went out to lunch together and then we went and got a mani and pedi! I definitely needed the relaxation and fun today. I have been taking everything so seriously. Mandi has been a great support for me.

Tomorrow I will be picking Anthony up from the airport! I am so excited to see him again! It has been so long! He gets to go with me to my last David appointment tomorrow. (David is my chiropractor and kinesiologist.) We also have a short meeting at church tomorrow evening. We are very busy with wedding stuff the next few days, but at least we will be together!!!

Well, stay posted to see how things are going!

Graduation

Tomorrow I will be going to my graduation rehearsal and the senior reception. Some of my family is coming to the reception. On Saturday, I am graduating from MacMurray College with a BA in Sign Language Interpreting. I have been working toward this day for four years. I am looking forward to closing this chapter of my life. College has been very difficult for me and I am ready to move on from it.

Here Goes

Okay, so I am taking the lead on this one from my friend, Sophia. I decided that because I am terrible at remembering to call people and I am an even worse pen pal, I should probably come up with another way for people to stay up-to-date with what is going on in my life. So here goes...

I am engaged to the most wonderful man! I will take the time later to type out our story, but lets just say we have a long history. Anyway, I am graduating from college this coming Saturday and then I am getting married a week later!

It has been over a month since Anthony and I have seen each other. In one week we will be back together! We are getting married in 10 days!!! I can't wait!!!
